DigiSAFE EtherCrypt is a layer-2 encryptor designed specifically to protect Ethernet and Metro-Ethernet networks transmission. With no encryption overhead as compare to layer-3 encryption, EtherCrypt 100M and 1G deliver high bandwidth efficiency and data throughput performance. The code integrity and key management of the encryptor is protected by DigiSAFE TrustCrypt, a FIPS 140-2 Level 3 certified cryptographic core module. Together with the automated key management system (KMS), EtherCrypt 100M and 1G provide a high assurance, reliable and secure data communications at speeds up to 100Mbps and 1Gbps respectively.
