About ST Electronics Cyber Security Centre

ST Electronics Cyber Security Centre was set up in 2014 to provide cyber training tailored for new entrants and seasoned professionals to develop and hone their competencies in cyber security. The Centre’s training is based on a high-fidelity defence training and simulation environment that simulates multiple cyber attack scenarios. Its curriculum emphasises on providing a comprehensive range of operational-centric cyber security practical training courses. At the Centre, organisations are able to simulate their own Security Operations Centre (SOC) environments and train in a realistic operational situation. Trainees are equipped with the latest operational cyber security skill sets through the courseware offered. The Centre also customises courses to meet the varied needs of organisations. It has trained more than 350 cyber security operations specialists from various ministries, statutory boards and companies.

The Centre has attained the Approved Training Organisation status accredited by the Workforce Development Agency in March 2016. As an ATO, it has met the criteria to conduct WSQ trainings and assessments that are mapped to the National Infocomm Competency Framework. It is the first official training provider for (ISC)²’s Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP®) Common Body of Knowledge (CBK®) training in Singapore. It is also the first training centre in the world to incorporate the use of advanced cyber range as part of the training.
